Something cool that happened this week... Nothing really... OH WAIT. We went to this member's house after Church on Sunday for lunch and she made this lasagna that was AMAZING!!!! It was so simple but so delicious. And they are super not wealthy and live on a farm out in the middle of no where so it was all fresh stuff and everything and it was incredible. That was fun :) I also ate rabbit. That was alright I guess. The lasagna was WAY better.
More fun stuff, God's Hand this week was in fact seen, as it is every week. Anz. Lopez and I had the opportunity two give two blessings this week, both on Monday. I haven't given a blessing, or been part of one, since my first transfer, so I was kind of missing it without even realizing it. It's really cool to be able to do that because you get to use the same power that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ used to create the Earth. That's pretty swell :) And being the voice of a blessing makes it even better because you get to be really led by the Spirit in everything you say.

So the year 2015 begins tomorrow. Big stuff right? Yeah. Watch this video. It rocks.
It talks about Lot's wife. Lot was commanded to leave Sodom and he did so and took his family with him. But God commanded him and his family to, "look not behind thee." Sadly, for reasons we know not, Lot's wife looked back at Sodom as they were escaping and immediately became a pillar of salt.
But in this video there's a really cool quote. The video talks about with this New Year, we should "look not behind [us]" but look ahead and keep enduring to the end basically. But one of the people in this video says something along this line. Lot's wife may have looked back because maybe she didn't understand that what God had in store for her in the future could be better than what she had back in Sodom.
I think this happens a lot. We're naturally scared of change as humans. It's part of our nature. We become comfortable with where we are, what we have, and all of that. Then a change happens. We immediately think the world is crashing down before us. But what if it's not? What if it's just a door opening to something better?
With this New Year of 2015, look not behind thee. It's a testimony of the Atonement. Cool, yeah, we mess up, a lot. It happens. Fun junk. Christ sacrificed himself so that we could learn from those mistakes and keep on going. Use the Atonement. It is fantastic. It is a miracle that is wrought mutiple times every second. It'll change your life. It changed mine. And it keeps changing my life every single day. I see it change the lives of all those around me.
Happy New Year Everyone!!!
Do great things today.
