Week 29. Party time.

It's a party here in Gorizia, Italia. There's a huge fair with tons of rides in the middle of the city, tons of vendors and junk being sold all over. Fun stuff. Along with that, it's super super cold and rainy and windy here. It's the best. I'm just used to my knees down being soaked and cold. Whatever though. There is just the smallest amount of snow on the mountains around us.

A little bit about Anz. Young, my companion. He's from somewhere in Utah. I'm the only one in my district not from Utah. :) He's super cool. We listened to a lot of the same music before the mission. He has 6 months left before he goes home, so he's a bit older than me. He's insanely, like ridiculously good at piano. Just makes stuff up, reads sheet music, just crazy good at piano. He's the branch pianist. hahaha. But yeah he's a cool kid.

Gorizia is doing well. Work is slow but good. Not a ton of people here, especially when it's pouring rain outside and its super cold. But whatever. We're still doing work!

We've been talking a lot about social media in the mission. Not us doing it but getting our members to use social media to share the gospel. Especially during this Christmas season when it's such a good time to talk with people about religion, Christ specifically. So if you didn't know this already, you should. :) The Church put out this new video called "He is The Gift." It's incredible.

You should really really watch this video and then do what it asked at the end. During this Christmas season, which is very Christ centered as it should be, this video talks about 3 things to do. To discover, embrace, and share The Gift. This Gift is Jesus Christ. So this is a fun 3 part thing to do an is described perfectly in this video.

1. Discover Christ - study His life in the scriptures. 
2. Embrace Christ - talk to you Heavenly Father and accept and embrace Christ and His teachings through diligent and meaningful prayer. 
3. Share Christ! :) This is the best one.

Once you've discovered and embraced Christ, I can promise you there will be a difference in your life. A new light that wasn't there before. I can promise you that because I've seen it work that way in my life and I know it'll be the same for all of you. Even if you've already discovered and embraces Christ, do it some more. :) It won't hurt, just help. :) Then share it. Share it with a sibling, a relative, a friend, a co-worker, a random person on the street. Share this video on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Myspace (if you still do that). Share The Gift you've received.
